Description
The Agriturismo Fattoria di Casavecchia is situated in Gavorrano, in Tuscany, close to Grosseto, in an area close to both the sea and the mountains, in Tuscan Maremma. It is set inside a farm of 250 acres with olive groves and sunflower cultivations. The Fattoria di Casavecchia is an early 19th century house, once belonging to the Marquis Gomez Paloma dell’Olivera and comprises of the master Villa with a large swimming pool at the guests’ disposal. In the Villa there are 3 rooms with private bathroom and use of a kitchen and in the vicinity there are five stone rural homes which have been recently restored while still maintaining their antique charm. The structure also has covered parking. The swimming pool is open from May to September.

How To Arrive
Reaching the Fattoria di Casavecchia is extremely simple:
  • arriving by car: the structure is situated close to the state road Aurelia E80, follow the signs for Gavorrano;
  • arriving by plane: the nearest airports are those of Pisa (110 km), Florence (130 km), Rome (200 km);
  • arriving by train: the nearest railway station is Gavorrano Scalo at 8 km;
  • there are also bus connections for Ribolla at 4 km.

It is easy to reach Pisa, Siena and Florence. For those who love the sea you can comfortably reach Punta Ala (30 km) and Castiglione della Pescaia (35 km), very well-known locations . It is possible to take a trip to the Island of Elba and Giglio. In the vicinity of the Fattoria di Casavecchia there are tennis courts and horse-riding stables, an 18 hole Golf course and a sailing school at 30 km; at ten kilometres there is the Lake of Accisa; for those who love to relax we suggest a visit to the Spa Centres of Petriolo (30 km) and Saturnia (90 km). The Natural Park of the Maremma represents a natural location of extreme beauty.
