Varazze Yacht Club
It was founded in 1919, C.A.S. CONI centre, at first especially for boys.
Sailing School’s boats are kept in a strip of beach between the tourist port and Baglietto Shipyard; if requested Optimist, L’Equipe, 420, 470 too.
The Club is open all year around.
From September to June professional training teams and beginning courses. br>
From June to September
Summer courses for everybody.
Sailing courses authorized by F.I.V. (Federazione Italiana Vela).
They last 10 days: from Monday to Friday.
During the courses participant are followed by federal instructors.
From 15th to 30th June promotional courses of 2 weeks for boys until 14 years at a very special price.
From July to 15th October courses of 10 days for everybody, from 8 to 80 years.
V.C.N. Courses
They last 10 days; equipment is provided by the Club.
Generally courses start from 15th June and end on first days of September;
PALAVARAZZE” SPORT STADIUM
Recent stucture (1986) situated in the centre of Varazze, with a 800 mq field, parquet floor, suitable for any kind of sport (volleyball, handball, basketball, five-a-side football, karate, etc.), conference room with 240 places equipped with translation machinery.
The Palavarazze is the ideal place for concerts, meetings and national sport events.
SPORT GROUND PINO FERRO”
Situated right by the tourist port, well-known Pino Ferro” is provided with changing room, showers, lights for by-night sport events; 2000 places on terraces and stands.
ATHLETICS SCHOOL
Along river Teiro, the 220 mt field is equipped with 4 lanes and lights for by-night events and training.

THE AQUARIUM OF GENOA
Is the biggest Aquarium in Europe , with 61 tanks, 6000 specimens of 600 different species and 1.200.000 visitors every year. Sharks, penguins, jelly fishes, crocodiles and now something new: the coloured hummingbirds.
Park of Beigua
