A pleasant, but quite long, walk beneath the lemon groves will take you from the coastal drive (SS 163) to our hotel.

By train: Get off in Salerno railway station, and get a bus or ferry to Amalfi (1). Ferries leave from the terminal on the boardwalk opposite the station. Buses leave from the main road, one block from the railway station. Once you are in Amalfi bus or ferry terminal it's a 20 minute walk to our hotel. Or you can take a SITA bus (direction POGEROLA) and get off at the Excelsior stop (3 KM from Amalfi centre). We also arrange transfers from Amalfi centre to our hotel at the cost of 10 euro.
By plane: Land in Napoli Capodichino (Naples airport) and get a cab to Amalfi (1) , or a shuttle to the ferry terminal in Naples (molo Beverello), and then a ferry to Amalfi. You can also take a bus from Naples railway station (Napoli Centrale) to Amalfi. Once you are in Amalfi bus or ferry terminal it's a 20 minute walk to our hotel. Or you can take a SITA bus (direction POGEROLA) and get off at the Excelsior stop (3 KM from Amalfi centre). We also arrange transfers from Amalfi centre to our hotel at the cost of 10 euro.
By car: Take the A3 (Roma-Napoli) highway and reach Vietri sul mare, then follow the coastal road (SS163 - Costiera Amalfitana) to Amalfi. Once you are in Amalfi keep driving until you reach the small square of Pogerola (3 KM from Amalfi centre), which is the meeting point next to the hotel.

Atrani
The town Atrani is located just 700 meters away from the famous Amalfi. Atrani was founded by the ancient Roman aristocracy, and became the wealthy residence of the most powerful families of Amalfi. Unfortunately, the town suffered when Ruggero II, and the Normanni domination began. This was only furthered with the Pisani invasion in 1337, which deprived the entire Amalfi Coast of its independence, and political power.

Positano
According to the legend, Positano was founded by a group of inhabitants from Paestum who were escaping from the attack of some Saraceni (pirates of the time).
The first official information about the town's existence comes from some ancient Roman documents, but some artifacts from the Palaeolithic Era have also been found in Positano. These artifacts testify to a much more ancient origin of the settlement.
The town of Positano is located in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Amalfi Coast, and the valley opens up to an equally magnificent stretch of coastline.
