By car
From Catania: take SS. 114, direction Siracusa and then the SS. 194 direction Ragusa. Follow the sign to get to Modica and then the direction Pozzallo-Siracusa. Arriving to Pozzallo take the 2nd exit Pozzallo Nord and continue in direction for Modica for 4 Km on the SP. 45.
From Siracusa: take the SS. 115 in direction of Noto-Ragusa. Follow the signs to get to Avola, Noto, Rosolini and Ispica. Once on the S.P. 46 in direction to Pozzallo take the direction to Porto di Pozzallo on the left 4 Km from Ispica. In about 2 Km take the exit to Pozzallo Nord and follow the SP. 45 to Modica, in 5 Km you will get to Cambiocavallo on your left.
By train
The nearest train station is in Pozzallo only 4 Km far from Cambiocavallo.

The nearest airport is in Catania only 110 Km far from Modica.

The hotel contains eight luminously peaceful and charming bedrooms, including two suites, all elegantly furnished with minimalist contemporary design, evoking the magic of the past while at the same time offering every modern comfort. Within the special setting of these rooms’ artistic and architectural beauty guests can enjoy the most technologically advanced levels of service: telephone, satellite TV, Jacuzzi, centralised fax and internet connections. All the rooms face onto a central court featuring a magnificent centuries-old carob plant.
The six rooms on the ground floor all have their own private veranda looking out over the countryside.
The main hall is furnished with comfortable contemporary design armchairs, while the meeting/reading room has bare stone walls with windows opening onto the flourishing Mediterranean garden. In winter, guests have breakfast around a huge red table – an antique re-evocation of the Sicilian buffetta” – where they can relish an assortment of sweet and savoury delights made with natural ingredients and traditional handmade local products.
In the summer breakfast is served outdoors in the central patio, or on request can be served on the rooms’ private verandas.
The South-Eastern corner of Sicily is the area with the highest concentration of Unesco heritage sites in the whole world. The massive earthquake of 1693 caused enormous damage throughout the whole Val di Noto and the successive eighteenth century reconstruction involved rebuilding over 50 towns almost simultaneously, always following the spectacularly elaborate Sicilian baroque style: this created a unique architectural entity covering the whole territory, a continuous texture made up of grandiose monuments and everyday buildings, town planning and landscape design.
The combination of this unique architectural context with the unspoiled natural features of the landscape means that this area still preserves the essence of the real Sicily. This is why it has been chosen by numerous famous film directors for their film sets, most recently for the successful Inspector Montalbano TV series based on the books by Andrea Camilleri, set in the towns of Modica, Scicli, Ispica, Ragusa and Noto. But that’s not the end of it: there are also many historical and archaeological remains left by the peoples who have inhabited this area from the most distant past, such as the Ispica Caves, Kamarina and the Pantalica necropolis.
The area is also rich in fascinating sites for lovers of nature and wildlife, notably the Vendicari oasis and the Pino D’Aleppo reserve…
