Our guests find an environment extremely taken care of and very comfortable. If you prefer to not use your car you can catch a bus only 100 meters from your room, which will take you to the City Center , leaving your car in our private parking lot. If our guests wish to spend their holiday with their pets we are prepared and happy to accommodate them. Each room has its own key so guests needn‘t bother with a receptionist. |

La Spiga è un familiare affittacamere dotato di diverse camere semplici e funzionali tutte arredate con cura in stile moderno. La conduzione è a carattere familiare e le nostre prerogative sono la riservatezza , ospitalità e pulizia. Le camere sono suddivise in tre strutture.LA SPIGA 1 e LA SPIGA 2, vicine tra loro, sono situate alle porte di Firenze raggiungibile in circa 15 minuti di auto oppure con il bus cittadino (linea n. 35 Fermata Baccellina 1) con fermata posizionata vicino alle due strutture. LA SPIGA 3 è invece situata in zona diversa dalle altre due ma sempre alle porte di Firenze raggiungibile in auto in circa 20/25 minuti oppure tramite il bus cittadino (vedere di seguito).
La Spiga offre un soggiorno particolarmente consigliato per coloro che vogliono visitare la città senza problemi di parcheggio. Nelle immediate vicinanze, oltre che poter visitare le varie opere d’arte, potete passare un po’ del vostro tempo facendo shopping nel grande centro commerciale I Gigli in particolare LA SPIGA 3 situata proprio di fronte al centro commerciale, inoltre potete passare delle ore di relax nel vicino Centro Benessere Hidron.
Non c’è orario di rientro perché al momento del vostro arrivo vi consegneremo le chiavi della camera per poter essere indipendenti ed avere l’accesso in qualsiasi momento del giorno e della notte. |

A private car park is at disposal.
Animals are allowed.
Enoteca Wine-bar with Chianti, Vernaccia, Honey, Olive oil, saffron, Grappa and Vin Santo.
There is at disposal as well as the large farm surrounded by vineyards and olive, a large park-garden for pic-nic.

Our licensed holiday farm has been granted a 4-ear of corn rating and our family, which has owned the property since 1985, has been running it according to strictly organic principles since 1987.
The last few hundred metres of the road leading up to the farm have purposely been left as a white gravel drive in order to preserve our natural setting, tranquillity, privacy and great wealth of flora and fauna.
The structural and environmental characteristics of Il Praticino make it absolutely unique. It is, in fact, ideal for those seeking a holiday characterised by the utmost tranquillity, good wholesome cooking and many leisure opportunities, constituted by naturalistic, sporting and cultural activities, or simply for those who wish to relax beside the pool surrounded by marvellous scenery and perfumes. Indeed, in addition to its privileged location, in terms of both climate, which is ideal for the whole family all year round, and relaxing tranquillity, Il Praticino is situated at the centre of an area that boasts a rich artistic and cultural heritage: Florence 40 km – Arezzo 40 km – Siena 60 km – Chianti 30 km. |

Tra i dolci declivi della Valdichiana sorge l'agriturismo Il Belvedere. Già da lontano si può notare l'eleganza lineare e semplice delle tipiche case coloniche dell'aperta campagna toscana circondata com'è da ulivi, che delimitano il perimetro di un curatissimo giardino a prato e ghiaia, con un'ampia aia lastricata antistante l'edificio e caratterizzata da un maestoso e secolare pino marittimo.
Tutto ciò è arricchito da una splendida piscina di 16m x 8, completamente attrezzata con lettini, sedie a sdraio ed ombrelloni.
Un fresco loggiato ed un gazebo, con grandi tavoli, panche e sedie offre la possibilità di passare allegre serate in compagnia, grazie anche al barbecue e ad un antico forno a legna.
Delle telecamere esterne assicurano la tranquillità degli ospiti.
Siamo pronti ad ospitare cani di ogni taglia previo accordo con i proprietari.
Gli ospiti della casa colonica diversamente abili troveranno ogni servizio che può loro necessitare, inoltre durante il recente restauro abbiamo provveduto all'abbattimento di eventuali barriere architettoniche.
La struttura è anche dotata di garage e posto auto riservato per ogni appartamento. |

The Agriturismo Natura e Salute - Fattoria di Vagli (the Nature and Health Agritouristic Farm of Vagli) is located in the middle of woods, only a few kilometres away from San Gimginano and Volterra.
It is an ideal place where you can relax and taste the typical produce of Tuscany and particularly of our area. You can also visit some of Italy’s most beautiful cities in art and history or else go for walks or bike-rides in the gentle surrounding hills and woods.
On a small path leading through the woods, you can reach the nearby remains of Castelvecchio, an important Medieval archaeological settlement hidden in the green.
If you prefer to rest without going away, you can enjoy our huge garden, our cosy lounge or our swimming-pool with sun-meadow. |

A place with abundance of chestnut trees. Podere la Marronaia set on the top of a little hill, amidst vineyards and olive groves, not too far from the centre of San Gimignano.
The history of this firm is lost in the past. The testimonies tell us that one upon a time amidst the chestnut trees, there was lone a watching tower, built for the defence of the town: it was the year 1200 dc.
In the year 2000 the Dei family bought the Podere and after a long work of renovation, its original beauty resurfaced.
The firm today id involved in the agricultural and turistic activity.
The old farmhouse has been changed into a small and comfortable agriturism, with flats to rent.
The Podere produces white and red wines and extra virgin olive oil, following the organic methods cultivation.
All the products are certified by Icea. |

Podere Pietreta is a large, old house from the eighteenth-century, entirely in stone, that was recently the subject of a careful and passionate restoration, maintaining the particular architectural qualities of the structure and using only original materials.
The estate is positioned on a hill, in a position of exceptional beauty within the natural and artistic park of Val d'Orcia, declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.
The farmhouse, 500m above sea level, dominates the hills that slope towards the plane: from here you can admire a vast natural setting, from Monte Cetona to the cliffs of San Casciano, from the rock of Celle sul Rigo to the slopes of Monte Amiata.
In addition to one of the most fascinating views in Tuscany there is a mild and pleasant climate, which benefits from its sheltered position and the ancient oak trees that surround the estate of Podere Pietreta.
There are 3 inviting apartments that are available for guests - of varying sizes - and a beautiful independent house - also in stone - newly restored; there is a warm and refined atmosphere, the residences are elegantly furnished with furniture from the era.
The apartments are all on the ground level and have a private entrance; for each of these, there is a private space with a large umbrella, table, chairs and barbecue. Each apartment is located on one of the three sides of the farmhouse, ensuring that guests have complete privacy.
The stone house - connected to the farmhouse - also enjoys a stunning view of the valley, and has two private entrances and is surrounded by a large private garden with a furnished gazebo, relaxation area, terrace and barbecue.
On the first floor of the farmhouse, there is the apartment of the owners.
Podere Pietreta is an oasis of peace, an ideal and exclusive environment to stay in the heart of Tuscany, immersed in the green of Val d'Orcia, enjoying the beauty of nature, and the numerous artistic jewels represented by the many medieval centres and art cities.
Taking the beautiful and panoramic road that leads to the farmhouse, it is common to come across hares, squirrels, goats and birds of various species: from falcons to herons, from magpies to nocturnal birds. The hedges which bloom with the broom flower and wild roses, strawberries and cypresses, berries are a fundamental part of the PoderePark. |
