The residence hotel La Vetreria, from the beginning of XX century, was an artistic mirror manifacture with the apatments of its owner's family on the upper floors.In 2003 it was refurbished keeping the cosy and friendly atmosphere of the sicilian houses belonging to that period. The residence La Vetreria is shared into 13 apartments with a total of 22 rooms. Also in these rooms, as in the whole house, you can notice a special care for details just to make the sty really comfortable. As in the past, the lamps, the curtains and hand-made cuscins make the already warm rooms, very charming and pleasant. All the rooms have private bathrooms with hair drier, direct telephone, ADSL connection, minibar, Tv, self-heating and all the stuff you need to make a coffee or a tea.

A18 Messina – Catania” motorway, San Gregorio” exit. Proceed towards Fontanarossa airport. After about 5 km follow the signs for Porto - Centro Città”. When you reach Piazza Borsellino (formerly Alcalà), take Via Plebiscito and turn into Via Grimaldi at the third road on the right.
By train
From Catania train station you can take the number 457 bus to Piazza Borsellino, from where you can proceed on foot taking Via Plebiscito and then turning into Via Grimaldi at the third road on the right.
By air
Catania – Fontanarossa international airport is the closest.
